Revolver Finger Screens, current progress and Google play publishing!

Hey everyone. Long time no see. Well not that long actually.

I haven't posted much about "Revolver Finger" on here but I have made lots of great progress. Actually, the game itself is near completion now. So I just want to share some news and finally screen shots of the game.

Lets just start with the screen shots first!

Just want to say that these screen shots do not really show what the game is about. I don't want to spoil it so these are actually all screen shots from early on in the game. You will soon find out the truth!

Current Progress on the game:
I want to say the game is around 85% complete. I don't know how I got that number because I didn't do any calculations or anything but that is just how I feel where the game is at. It is a short adventure game that consists of four parts. I have finished working on part three not long ago and am ready to work on part four, which is the final part. After I finish the final part of the game I will just need to add a couple more things such as the game menus and a save feature.

After I finish all that, the game will be ready to be published! At the moment I am still not sure about the release date but it should not be far off at all.

Speaking of publishing, I just want to say that I finally got an android developers license and can now publish my android apps to the Google play store.Whooooooooo! So I am happy to say that "Revolver Finger" will be available on Googles Play store when it is complete. The game will be 100% free. :)

I look forward to releasing "Revolver Finger" and future projects.

More updates soon, thanks for reading.

Its "Revolver Finger" now

Hey everyone (if there is anyone).

I haven't been posting to much on my blog lately but have been working non stop on my android game project. Also I have been posting all the new updates for my game project in my thread on the Unity3d forums. So you can check out a bunch of things I haven't posted in my blog over here Link

I usually post here if its something major like release info or a trailer. Anyway, I have decided to do some major changes and have already made a lot of changes to my game project.

First of all, I changed the name of the game. The game is no longer called "Raccoon Finger". Instead I decided to name it "Revolver Finger"

I did this for a good reason, mostly because I changed the storyline of the game and wanted a more proper fitting name for the title.

Second, the storyline and gameplay. I never really talked much about what gameplay was going to be like, but when I first came up with the idea of "Raccoon Finger" gameplay was going to be simple. However, ever since I decided to change the project to "Revolver Finger" the gameplay is much more exciting. Its like a action adventure touch game!

As for the storyline, originally I said the story was about a raccoon who one day receives a mysterious package and must discover whats inside. The idea was to build suspense up until the end and then players would discover what is inside the package. However, this storyline is no longer the case.

The new storyline for revolver finger is much more complex now. The game does still start out with receiving a mysterious package however, it is not the most important thing in the story or the main objective. Actually you receive the package pretty early in the game now. Maybe in a future post I will talk more about the storyline. But now in the game, I think players will encounter very interesting characters. Well at least I think so. (More interesting than any of the characters my previous projects at least)

Last, the idea of playing as a raccoon. Its cool to play as a raccoon and all, I mean just look at sly cooper! But I didn't really like where my game was going with it. So, you do still play as a raccoon in "Revolver Finger" but only in the beginning of the game. Then it changes. I want to make the game so that its a little more creepy/darker/weird toony style than what I was going to do with Raccoon Finger.

Anyway, thats all I have for now. I have made lots of great progress and will have some media up soon. Also check out my thread on the unity forums in the link to see some recent updates on the game.

Heres some images of new characters and a level I posted recently on the unity forums that will be in the game:
