🎃 Additional Information 🎃

Samer Hills™ games place the player in bizarre and terrifying scenarios and situations. Play as unique main characters or sometimes even Samer Khatib himself throughout the series. No two Samer Hills games will be the same as each title is designed to be its own standalone experience.

🎃 Samer Hills as a brand, label, and the future of the studio 🎃

Going forward, I have decided that all new game releases from Snowconesolid Productions will be labeled as "Samer Hills™" games. What I mean is that there will no longer be standalone titled games such as "Giraffe Town" or "Potato Thriller". Instead, all new game releases will be branded as "Samer Hills™" followed by the game's title name.

For example: "Samer Hills™ Toxic Turtle"

So, the format for all future games that I publish will go as follows:

"Samer Hills™ GAME TITLE NAME"

I have made this decision for multiple reasons. This is to separate my new works from my older ones as well as to separate my works from other works that may contain similar naming or commonly used words. Additionally, this is to create and build up a unique and distinctive brand and to make it easier to find my games when searching for them. This is also especially a good decision for future purposes when I eventually have published many games. Simply searching the keywords "Samer Hills" will bring up all my new games instead of having to search for a specific title or scavenge pages upon pages of results not related to my works. In my opinion, this is a smarter and safer way for creating and publishing games and doing business in general. It's a unique approach that isn't really done by most developers and I think it's important to have a brand for your works established and easily identifiable.

Samer Hills is described as a game series or anthology. But really, it's more of a label and identity. A signature for my works and a way for my works to stand out from the rest. This will be my main brand going forward as an independent game developer. Unlike my past game releases, my goal is to really establish Samer Hills as my own unique brand that just focuses on doing its own thing and represents my take on independent horror games.

Estimated release date? This Month.

Hello everyone. Wanted to post a quick update for the game. I am currently finalizing "Potato Thriller"  Putting the last bits together and everything and then doing a quick polish job. Currently, I am aiming on finishing and having the entire game released before the end of this month.

As of this post, my game hasn't even been posted to Steam Greenlight for a full month. You might be thinking "He just recently posted this and now he is saying that it is almost complete?".

Actually, I have been working on this game since October 2015. So it has been a couple months. Although it is a pretty silly, random game horror game that many people might not take seriously - I did actually put in a lot of work into creating this. This isn't a game that I just did overnight. Anyway, I wanted to wait until I had just the right amount completed before I posted it to Steam.

I posted this game to Steam Greenlight on March 6th (my birthday). Obviously it still did not get greenlit. Of course I wasn't expecting it to get greenlit in one month. This is my first time posting something to steam and I did read prior that it could take a while for games to get greenlit on steam and in some cases even years. I read about this one developer who said that after about 4 or so years, he finally was informed that his game was greenlit and ready to get published on Steam. And I get it. I understand that the process can take a while. New games are posted to Steam daily. Deciding what gets Greenlit and what does not is probably a very time consuming process.

Anyway, since I am nearly complete with this project, my goal is to have the entire game finished and released before the end of this month. No estimated release date yet but, definitely sometime before the end of March. Greenlit on Steam or not. I will have this game finished and released real soon. While we wait for the Greenlight on Steam, I will have the game available (once completed) on sites like itch.io and maybe a couple others. I'll get more into this later on when I am preparing for release.

Anyway, this is all for now. Thanks for reading. Thank you for those of you who have voted for the game so far on Steam and more updates coming soon. Real soon. Peace.

If interested (and this will probably be the last time I post this link) go vote for the game on steam over here:

The game is almost finished and I am really excited to get it out soon. The trailer shows almost nothing from the game. I don't want to ruin the surprises.

I will post updates in this post later on. Currently working on getting the game setup over at gamejolt.com and indiedb.com. More updates soon!

Heres that YouTube update I promised :)

I have been working hard over the past couple days cleaning up my YouTube channel. Getting it more organized and making it look cool. I updated almost everything on my channel and am happy with how much I have changed with it.

My new YouTube icon I designed:

"You see this? Diamond Dogs... Our new home..." -MGSV

Randomly decided to make a Metal Gear Solid V reference just now for some reason. But that is how I felt when I was re-designing my YouTube stuff, getting it more organized and to look more like how I want it to look. Its a great feeling actually. :D

And the my new YouTube Banner. I think I spent too much time working on this one. But very happy with the results.

Check out and Subscribe to my updated fancy pants YouTube channel today!

It's a really exciting time and I am really happy. I really look forward to sharing my YouTube adventures and posting a bunch of new content. I have so much planned. More videos and blog updates will be coming soon. More information and a trailer for my new horror game coming up later in the coming days.  Thank you everybody once again for staying with me and checking out all my stuff over the past couple years. It means so much to me. I really enjoy creating and sharing new content with everyone. :)

More updates coming soon! Thanks for reading.
